Volunteer Policy
We couldn't do it without you!
Our team could not function with out the dedicated volunteer efforts of our parents. Swim meets require many people and we need all of our parents to help make sure they run smoothly.
Our Goal:
Enable 100% of our swim team families fulfill their volunteer obligations.
Volunteer Requirements
It may seem contradictory to require people to volunteer. But we want to spread the jobs among many, so it won't be left to a few parents to do it all. To equally distribute the jobs, we have developed the following policy based on the number swimmers.
Each Family will be expected to complete the number of shifts below:

Pick Your Spot
This year we will be allowing parents to choose their own volunteer shifts. Shifts will be selected through this web site (for a video tutorial on the process, click HERE or visit the Tutorials page). We hope that this process will be more convenient for parents as well as easier to manage.
Expert Volunteers
Some of our parents have become experts at their volunteer jobs. Some of our volunteer jobs can overwhelming for first-timers. On occasion, we will assign some people who have performed jobs in the past and they are familiar with the job function.

In the event that shifts go unfilled and/or there are significant numbers of parents who are not carrying their burden, we reserve the right to assign parents to shifts.
